From our Comfort Care Menu to high-tech services like lasers, Cerec crowns, Zoom whitening, and biocompatibility testing, the options we offer are designed with your comfort and your health in mind.

Your comfort is among our greatest concerns.
We go to great lengths to make our patients comfortable, before, during and following dental procedures. Some of those efforts fall under the "little things count" heading. Things like blankets and pillows, comfortable dental chairs, a wide variety of current reading materials, soft home-like lighting throughout the office, and tinted safety glasses during procedures may be little touches but we know they are important to our patients.

   An Ounce of Prevention...
The most conservative, and least expensive, medicine is still preventive medicine. That is why, at SunBird Dental, we begin our patient relationships with a comprehensive evaluation and recommend periodic examinations about twice a year. We know that the sooner we are able to make you aware of a potential problem the sooner you can make the choice to prevent that problem from becoming worse. Many dental conditions do not have apparent symptoms until they are severe, so a dental examination may be the only opportunity for early diagnosis and conservative treatment.

The primary purpose of a professional cleaning is to remove tartar (also called calculus) which is plaque that has hardened on the teeth. Once plaque has been allowed to harden into tartar it can only be removed by a dental professional, a toothbrush just can't do the job. Tartar provides an ideal environment for bacteria to grow, causing decay and periodontal (gum) disease. So the best way to prevent dental disease is still to brush and floss regularly and have a professional cleaning as often as necessary to maintain a clean and healthy mouth.
